Barbara Silcox, 85 of Shelby Gap, Ky. was born on June 15, 1941 to Mac and Opal Butler Birchfield who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy, a son Billy Coleman and sisters:Romona and Nebo Birchfield  Barbara was a member of the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church and a teacher in Pike County, Ky. Survivors are: daughters: Robin Campbell of Ohio and Becky (Jim) Johnson of Shelby Gap, Ky., grandchildren: Whitley (Jeffery Jr.) Robinette, Nikki (Steve) Walz, J. D. Johnson, Randel Johnson, Kristyn (Roy) Campbell and  Brandyn Campbell, great grandchildren: Alexis Robinette, Jaylynn Robinette, Jeffery Robinette III, Sereniti Robinette and Olivia Walz and a host of nieces & nephews., sisters; Genny Roark and Bonita Sharpe both of Fl. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026 between 6:00 and 10:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 2:00 with Van Swindall officiating.  Burial will follow in Childers Cemetery at Ashcamp, Ky.
