Augustine Keene Phillips Davenport, 88 of Steele, KY passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at her residence. Augustine was a retired teacher and a member of the Feds Creek Baptist Church. She was born February 22, 1938 in Grundy, VA to the late Frank Keene and Della Mae Stewart Keene. In addition to her parents, Augustine was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Grayson Phillips, Jr. and 2nd husband, Tommie D. Davenport, a son, Gary Phillips, two grandchildren, Aimee Pugh & Jody Lance Phillips, brothers, Thurman Keene, Noah Gilbert Keene, Frank Keene, Jr. & Albert Ray Keene.

Augustine is survived by a son, Larry (Sharon) Phillips of Feds Creek, KY; two daughters, Rhonda (Kerry) Phillips Young of Lexington, KY and Donna (Neil) Pugh of Feds Creek, KY; four grandchildren, Travis Fuller, Joshua Phillips, Samantha Blair & Amber Chadwell; and nine great-grandchildren. She also is survived by two sisters, Eula Faye Coleman of Satsuma, FL and Brenda Harris of St. Augustine, FL.

Visitation will be after 6PM Friday, May 15, 2026 at the Feds Creek Baptist Church with a service at 7PM. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11AM from the church with Jeff Foster and Hobert Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.
