Anthony Eugene "Tony" Adkins, 67 of Draffin, Kentucky passed away on Monday, October 7th, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Anthony was a retired Coal Foreman and a member of the Blessed Hope Freewill Baptist Church. He was born on December 12th, 1956 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Eugene & Isabella Adkins.

Besides his parents, Anthony is preceded in death by his sister Elwana Shepard. He is survived by his wife: Dianna Stewart Adkins. Sons: Christopher Kelly Adkins of Draffin, Kentucky; Trevor Shane Adkins of Lick Creek, Kentucky. Grandchildren: Shyanna Pitner, Trinity Adkins, Anthony Hunter Adkins, Sierra Hunt and Lorissa Hunt. Great-grandchildren: Paislee Merrick, Cooper Merrick, Maycee Merrick, Waylon Adkins, Haven Ratliff, & Ellie May. Tony is also survived by a brother, Wayne Adkins of Pikeville, KY.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9th & Thursday, October 10th from 6-10 PM, a service will be held at 7 PM nightly. Ray Sayers, Rick Sawyers, & others officiating.

The funeral will be held Friday, October 11th at 1 PM. All services will be conducted in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Ray Sayers, Rick Sawyers, Tommy England, & others officiating.

Interment will take place at the Dow Brooks Cemetery in Draffin, Kentucky.
