Allen Ray Gibson, 72 of Hellier, KY passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Pikeville Medical Center. Allen was a carpenter, a US Army Veteran and a member of the Alleghany Freewill Baptist Church. He was born April 16, 1954 in Pikeville, KY to the late Dave and Ella Gibson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Gibson.

Allen is survived by his wife, Jean Adkins Williams Gibson of Hellier, KY; daugher, Angie Justice of Pikeville, KY; stepdaughter, Stephanie Williams of Hellier,KY; sons, Clinton Gibson of VA and Cody Strouse of KY; grandchildren, Jordan King, Austin King and Brianna Williams; great-grandchildren, Kairi King, Ryder King, Serana King, Coen King and Ashlynn King. Allen is also survived by one brother, Danny Gibson of TN.

Visitation will be after 6PM Monday, April 27 and Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at the Alleghany Freewill Baptist Church with servcies nightly at 7PM. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 12PM from the Allehany Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Alleghany Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, Hellier, KY.
